By drawing on her many years of experience as a fashion journalist and fashion director, as well as her background
in art and illustration, Adriana Glaviano has succeeded in creating garments that are imbued with a precious sense of lightness.
Cala di Volpe is a summer clothing range that takes its inspiration from the island of Sardinia.
Aside from the Lycra swimwear, Adriana chose to use nothing but the purest Italian-made silk for all of the clothes
in the collection, which can be matched both with the swimwear and with each other, since they all benefit from
stylish cuts and elegant lines. This approach has given rise to a true niche product, with exceptional attention
to detail evident across all thirty different garments.
The collection features prints – based on photographs by Adriana’s brother, Marco Glaviano – depicting fish, flowers
and butterflies. Other items in the collection have strong, vibrant colours.
Cala di Volpe is all about colour, movement and shape.
It is also about precious lightness – a “story” told by silk as it makes its way across and around the female form.
Each Cala di Volpe garment is a timeless gift – a design lifted from nature and brought to life through the unrivalled
expertise of Italy’s finest artisans, to create clothes that seem to be made only of air, light and luxury....
The photographs, taken by Marco Glaviano in Sardinia, capture the essence of the unique beauty of the island’s Costa Smeralda.
